Albert started singing in a band in Belleville 50 years ago. The first band was “Little Davy and the Rhythm Pals” in Belleville. He then went on his own for a few years singing all over, then he was in a band called “Jeremiah Weed” in the Brighton and Campbellford area. He was president of the “Old Time Fiddlers” in Trenton for a couple years and also had several bands in the area, one was called “Family Tradition” with his daughter Darlene and his son Eric.

Albert started an open mic. show in Codrington Ontario which he ran every Monday night for two and a half years. He started a fund raiser for cancer called “Jamboree for Life” along with Patricia Russell. Albert and Patricia recorded a CD six years ago which sold well. He has had other small bands over the years. The jamboree he started in Codrington is still going but is now run by someone else. He sang with other artists at various times from Ottawa to Windsor. He along with Patricia Russell still sing all over the area including Napanee at the fair grounds and in Snow Road Station.
