Doreen Black / 2018 Hall of Fame

Doreen Black is 2018 Entertainer-Living Inductee.

Best known locally for bass and vocals for the Country Four, Ronnie Clark, Terry Lessard and Reg Weber who played throughout L&A and Central Hastings as well as North and Central Frontenac, Doreen also lived and performed in the Oshawa /Durham area in her earlier years before she and her husband Ken began a tourist resort business on Big Gull lake.

Doreen has performed many times at the Trent Valley Jamboree, the Bowmanville Jamboree and the George York Marlbank Charity Jamboree. She has done guest performances with the likes of Graham Townsend and Smiley Bates. She also performed numerous times on an Oshawa Country Music station. Doreen still appears at many local open mics both as a vocalists and as a musician as well as doing guest appearances at local events such as the legendary Hayloft.
