Odey Snider / 2019 Hall of Fame

Odey Snider is a 2019 Inductee with a  Lifetime Achievement Award. Odey lives in Cloyne in Frontenac County.

In Odey's early adulthood he played community events with a number of local youth. After Odey moved to the Oshawa, he formed Odey and the Sundowners, which included a local performer, and current Hall of Fame inductee, Doreen Black. They played extensively in the Durham region.  Odey was lead vocalist and played rhythm guitar. Returning home from the  Oshawa, he returned to his roots playing with locals, such as fiddling great, Laurie Perry and his cousin Ben Lloyd as lead guitarist. His brother Roger also sang and called square dances. They became known simply as Odey & The Boys.
