Sid Prescott / 2019 Hall of Fame

Sid Prescott is Living Entertainer (Vocalist/Instrumentalist) 2019 Inductee from Foxboro in Hastings County.

Sid grew up in Quebec always enjoying music. At fifteen years of age, Sid’s dad presented Sid with his first fiddle which he still plays today. At this point Sid began playing steel guitar, but Sid and his family moved to Nova Scotia where the fiddle ruled. Sid is also a seasoned vocalist and currently he is part of the classic country scene in Ontario where he plays with the Heartland Band.

In 2011, Sid played the role of Charlie Chamberlain in a dramatic musical production of The Don Messer Story with cast members, Bill White, Elly Kelly and Rosie Shiner.
